CLARK CUP - Spring One Design Regatta. Great two days of sailing for 4 classes of boats.

Sailors had two days of varying winds and mostly sunny weather. Day one brought 6-10 fairly steady winds but the hot weather had most of the sailors exhausted at the end of the 4 races. Fleets of San Juan 21s, Wayfarer, Sunfish and open classes were represented..

Topping the leader board in the San Juan 21 fleet #8 was Squirrels on the Highway with Tinka Talbert and Clare Brock who took 6 first places to win the series. The Wayfarers were led by Fetch - Richard Johnson with a very respectable 4 1sts out of the 6 races.

Sunfish class was much tighter with Albert Lang winning with 13 points . 2nd place being a tie of 15 points between George Sechrist and Nate Atwater with the tiebreaker going to George having more 1sts.

Open class was a family dual between the Hansen family. Andrew Connolly and Scarlett Hansen took first with 8 points followed by Mark & Kristen Hansen at 12 points.

All and all a great regatta run flawlessly by Stephanie Davies and her RC on Piccolo. Mary Lang and her breakfast and dinner crew did an amazing job feeding the hungry group with yummy lasagna and fixings.
