NYRA INVITATIONAL
Description.
The 2026 NYRA Invitational Regatta March 21-22, 2026.
The regatta is open to sailboats 20 feet or longer LOA with a current NC-PHRF rating certificate. Anticipated fleets are Spinnaker, Non-spinnaker and Navigator. Spinnaker and Non-spinnaker fleets will sail either Windward/Leeward or Triangle courses on Saturday and a medium distance race with a modified pursuit start on Sunday. The Navigator Fleet will sail medium distance races with modified pursuit starts on both Saturday and Sunday. Shore party will follow Saturday racing at Blackbeard Sailing Club. Eligible boats may enter online at NYRA’s Regatta Network page for this event. The entry fee is $45.00. Members of US Sailing receive a $5 discount, and NYRA members receive a $5 discount.
Shore party tickets may be purchased for $25 each while entering. Dinner catered by Famous includes Lasagna, stuffed shells, baked ziti, garlic bread, salad, iced tea, and a limited supply of beer and wine.
