Boat owner must be a member of a SAYRA Member Club or an individual SAYRA member ($15).
There will be four events counting towards the selection of our local Champion in each class. The three ICRC events and NCYRA.
The winner for our area will be determined by high point scoring these
four eventsas follows:-
"To determine the winners of each region the high point scoring system
will be used. Each boat will score points calculated as follows:-
In each class boats will score points such that the boat finishing first
will score points equal to the number of boats racing in that class, and
each boat thereafter scoring one point less. ie First gets "N", Second
"N-1", Third "N-2" etc where "N" is the number of boats racing in each
class. Boats that do not race will be scored "0""
The winner of PHRF Spin A, Spin B, Non-spinaker will represent the Neuse/Pamlico area in the SAYRA PHRF Championships which will be held in
Charleston the first weekend in November.
No exact cut off has been determined for the class breaks between A and B
fleets. At the meeting in February it was thought that it might be around
120. Not all areas may use the same criterion depending on their loacl
fleet composition.
