Blueprint Rides the Waves
"It was the best of times ..."
We had some action packed racing this weekend at the Clark Cup/ICRC#1.
There was plenty of wind, rain and action in some of the most aggressive
racing that I have seen from the PHRF boats. It looked like a fleet of
SJ21's on steroids. NYRA was very well represented with 11 of the 24 boats
that qualified for the
team scoring. Furthermore, counting the people running the race and racing
for NYRA or BSC, about half of the NYRA membership participated. As a
result of the quality and quantity of our racers, NYRA won the team award.
The winning team was NFN, Devil Dog, Blue Print, Duck Tape, and Piccolo.
Congratulations and thanks to all who participated. I look forward to
the August ICRC and hope we will have an even bigger turnout to build
on this success.
