The Only Way to Stop Blue Bayou

"It was the worst of times ..."
As you might imagine with a group of very competitive sailors, strong winds, and aggressive starts, we had a few incidents also. The crew of Any Time tried to build on their brilliant start in the first race but came up about one foot short of enough room to duck Blue Bayou. As a result we drove our bow through Blue's aft quarter and discovered that they did actually have some dry core. Hopefully they can get it repaired soon and will not have to miss to much of the upcoming racing. In the JAM fleet, in some very close racing Piccolo also managed to clip another boat, Quixotic, and cause some damage. Obviously Bill was not to be out done by the Any Time crew.

Around the docks this weekend I heard lots of good things about the www.NYRA.org web site. We are working hard to make this the place to go for local racing information and it is good to hear that we are succeeding. Any feedback, good or bad, is appreciated.
