Any Time Takes Another Run Before the New Arrival Spring is finally here and it was great to see so many boats out for the First Citizens Cup last weekend. Unfortunately, too many of those boats were in front of me at the finish. See Mark Brennesholtz's article for more race info or the web site for results. By the way, if you choose not to replace a 20 year old bilge exhaust hose that goes to a below the waterline connection, it's a real good idea to carry a roll of duct tape for long races. The board has been fairly active this winter, trying to take care of business so we can sail with a clear conscious once the weather warms up. We have completed the paper work and NYRA is now incorporated. This was very desirable from a liability and insurance perspective. We are in the process of registering as a tax exempt organization. The board has also approved a new NYRA Patron membership
level with a cost of $100/year. The intent is that businesses that want
to sponsor NYRA can join at this level and we will provide links to their
web sites on our eNews Letter and from the www.nyra.org
web site. We already have several businesses
